Shabach Christian Academy (MD) goes back to back BIG SHOTS PREP NATIONALS CHAMPS with the win 59-49 over Quality Education National (NC).

MVP Performers:

*North Carolina's No. 1 SG in 2026 6’3 Yohance Connor was named SLAM Orange MVP of BIG SHOTS PREP NATIONALS in leading 1 of 1 to the title. A Top 60 national talent in the 2026 class, Yo is one of the top athletes in the country with his speed and explosiveness at the rim. His high major talent excelled in transition and showed his blow by speed in the half court setting. He brings it every game every possession which has led to current offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Illinois, Wake Forest, VCU & others. Connor averaged 17.3 ppg on the weekend.

* One of the DMV's hottest overall players is 2026 6’2 PG Neiko Mundey who was named SLAM Blue MVP of BIG SHOTS PREP NATIONALS, for the back to back champs Shabach Christian Academy (MD). Mundey is a confident shot maker that can create and deliver. Ranked Top 60 nationally in the 2026, Neiko holds offers from Illinois, Syracuse, Florida St, Towson, ECU, ODU +. A true scorer and can get a bucket with the best of them. Champion in Rock Hill with New World on 3SSB Circuit, Mundey comes out of Rock Hill a champion once again.

Breakout Performer:

*2025 6’5 G Brandon Lee of The Patrick School (NJ) led the division in scoring at 21 ppg, leading his team to a 2-1 weekend. The shooter had a 37 point outing in a 90-86 win vs. Huntington Prep (WV). Lee holds offers from Mississippi St, NJIT, Rhode Island, High Point and interest from Rutgers.

*A top available guard in North Carolina's 2024 class, 6’4 G Isaiah Washington of Winston Salem Christian National (NC) shined once again at BIG SHOTS in Prep Nationals. Zay led his team at 17.7 ppg en route to the title game starring alongside UMass signee Lewis Walker, NC's top PF in 2024.

*A top available forward in the Northeast and in the SLAM division at Prep nationals was versatile 2024 6’9 William Sydnor of The Patrick School (NJ). His skillset of shooting and handle at his size stretched the floor and created a mismatch for opponents finishing at 15 ppg. Sydnor is receiving mid-high level D1 recruiting.

*Time and time again when 1 of 1 Academy (NC) needed a stop or a play 2026 5’10 PG LJ Rush delivered. The speedy playmaking lead guard set the tone defensively for the champs consistently getting deflections or steals leading to buckets in transition. His floor game shined bright throughout the tournament.  2025 high major prospect 6'9 Gevonte Ware made his presence in the interior. Both prospects holds high level offers.

*Athletic 2024 6’5 wing Papa Kounta of S3 Academy (VA) continued his scoring output averaging 19 ppg on the weekend.

*Shooter with length, 2025 6’7 Wing Xavier McLean of Orangeville Prep EYBL (CAN) will see his stock continue to rise throughout the Spring and Summer. A pure stroke and high ceiling with his size is already attracting Power 5 interest.
