BIG SHOTS attended 6 different holiday tournaments this past weekend: Chick-fil-A Classic (Columbia, SC), Arby’s Classic (Bristol, TN), John Wall Invitational (Raleigh, NC), Beach Ball Classic (Myrtle Beach, SC), 804 Coach 4 Change (Richmond, VA), Lowcountry Roundball Classic (Charleston, SC). Chick-fil-A Classic Highlights:

  • Jermaine O’Neal’s squad Dynamic Prep (TX) welcomed back to the 803, getting 3 Top 25 wins in the ESPN HS National Rankings and being crowned Chick-fil-A Classic National Bracket Champs. Tournament MVP Leon Horner finished with 22 pts in the championship win over Prolific Prep. Standouts for Dynamic Prep; Top 100 2025 Jermaine O’Neal Jr., Jaden Toombs, and Jaylen Washington. 
  • Ridge View (SC) continues their tournament hot streak going undefeated in both THE BASH and Chick-fil-A Classic. Now 14-0 on the season, winning over 2 ranked Top 25 ESPN HS National Ranking opponents in John Marshall (VA) and Grayson HS (GA). SC’s No. 1 2026 SG Korie Corbett was Tournament MVP averaged 17 ppg. Standouts for Ridge View; Malachi Cooper, Joshua Smith, and Yale Davis. 
  • Prolific Prep (CA) is one of the most talented teams all around in the Nation. Finishing Chick-fil-A Classic 2-1 losing in the National Bracket Championship game, Ranked #2 in ESPN HS National Rankings led by #1 in 2025 AJ Dybansta and #1 2026 Tyran Stokes, Alabama commit Aiden Sherrell, Washington commit Zoom Diallo, and sharp shooter Winters Grady. 
  • John Marshall (VA) ranked #22 in the ESPN Top 25 led by Top 100 Latrell Almond, JMU Commit Redd Thompson, and Aiden Aragabright. John Marshall finished the tournament 2-1 with a close loss to Ridge View (SC), but bounced back to defeat St. John’s (DC) on a buzzer beater by Latrell Almond. 
  • Grayson Rams (GA) top team out of the Peach State, defending State Champs go 2-1 at Chick-fil-A Classic losing in the Championship game. Led by Purdue commit and Most Outstanding Player Gicarri Harris, Jacob Wilkins, WCU commit Christian Hyland, App State commit Anthony Alston and Top Big in GA 2025 Amir Taylor.
  • Combine Academy (NC) Top 25 ESPN HS Nationally Ranked Goats go 2-1 at CFA Classic. Led by Kansas commit Rakease Passmore, one of the top scorers all weekend during the event, earning him All Tournament Team honors. 
  • DME (FL) goes 2-1 at Chick-fil-A Classic led by Babatunde Duradola, Richmond commit Jaylen Robinson, and Moustapha Thiam. 
  • Dream City Academy (AZ) finished 1-2 at CFA Classic led by Most Outstanding Player of CFA Classic Ikenna Alozie, Arizona commit Emmanuel Stephen. 
  • Gray Collegiate (SC) past South Carolina State Champs went 1-2, with a win over Hillcrest Prep (AZ). Led by Georgia Southern commit Braylhan Thomas, Treyvon Maddox, Ellis Graham, and LJ Britt.

John Wall Invitational Highlights:

  • Devonte Graham Bracket Champs: Reidsville High School (NC) led by dual 5 star MVP of Tournament Kendre Harrison, Dionte Neal with a big 27 pt performance vs Cannon, and Johnniyus Sharpe 24 pts vs FarmVille Central. 
  • Day’Ron Sharpe Bracket Champs: Myers Park High School (NC) led by 3 headed monster of MVP 2025 Sadiq White, Tennessee commit Bishop Boswell, and Notre Dame commit Sir Mohammed. 
  • Coby White Bracket Champs: St. Anne’s-Belfield (VA), led by 2025 4-star PG Chance Mallory, finished with 27 pts 8 Rebs, and 4 asts in the championship game vs Burlington School. 
  • Christ School (NC) made it to the Day’Ron Sharpe championship led by 2025 high major big Zymicah Wilkins, George Mason Bryson CokleyCokely, and 2025 shooter Madden Collins.
  • OTE Cold Hearts (GA) goes 2-0 at John Wall Invitational, NC State commit and NC Native Trey Parker puts on a show first game back in the Hoop State with a 17 point 7 steal performance. 
  • Moravian Prep (NC) goes 2-1 at John Wall Invitational, led by South Carolina commit Eli Ellis hitting game winner vs Millbrook. 
  • Northwood (NC) goes 2-1 and runners up in Devonte Graham Bracket Cam Fowler, UNC commit Drake Powell.
  • 2025 Chance Gladden of Ravenscroft (NC) breaks scoring record with a 57 pts performance. Winning Most Outstanding Player in the Coby White Division. 
  • NC State commit Paul McNeil of Richmond (NC) put up numbers all weekend at John Wall, averaging 27 ppg for the tournament. 
  • Millbrook (NC) 2025 Colt Langdon hits the shot of the tournament DAY 1, hitting a game winning fadeaway 3 vs Highland School.  Many high major programs were in to see Langdon. 

Beach Ball Classic Highlights: 

  • Prep Division Champs: Antonio Lowe’s squad Winston Salem Christian (NC) wins Beach Ball Classic with the win over 1 of 1 Academy (NC), led by UMass commit Lewis Walker MVP of Tournament and NC’s top available 2024 SG Isaiah Washington. Mississippi State commit Chol Machot length at 7’0 was a major factor. 4-star 2025 PG Jordan Lowery controlled tempo throughout. 
  • 1 of 1 Prep (NC) Jermaine Jackson’s team had a standout tournament behind 2026 Star Yohance Conner. Conner picked up offers from Auburn and Coastal Carolina this past weekend at Beach Ball Classic. L.J Rush also had an all tournament showing for 1 of 1. 
  • Tradition Division Champs: Bishop O’Connell wins the Beach Ball Classic over Great Crossing in a Double OT win. 5-Star Bryson Tucker led the way with 27 pts in the win giving him MVP of the Tournament, breakout performer Wyatt Norton with 21 pts and 12 rebs, FSU signee AJ Swinton with 10 pts. First Championship game in BBC History to go into DOUBLE OT. 
  • Great Crossing (KY) went 2-1 at BBC losing in the Traditional Championship vs Bishop O’Connell. Vince Dawson, Malachi Moreno, and Gage Richardson were standouts through the week. 2025 7’0 5-star talent Moreno finished 3rd all time in BBC History in rebounds in 3 games with 54 boards. Had 24 points 26 rebounds in the title game. 
  • Lexington (SC) finished with 3rd place in Tradition Division behind Texas commit Cam Scott, Kaleb Evans, and Jaxon Prunty.
  • J. Addison (CAN) finished in 3rd Place in the Prep Division behind top scorers 2025 Eternity Eguagie with 26 pts and 2024 Abraham Osman with 19 pts. 
  • Huntington Prep (WV) goes 2-1 over the weekend led by Ohio commit Dillion Tingler,  and 5-Star 2025 Darryn Peterson. 
  • Blue Ridge (VA) finished 1-2 at BBC led by Dartmouth signee Shanon Simango, Colby White, and Long Beach St signee Kamren Martin. 
  • 2027 Standout Isaak Hayes of North Crowley (TX) puts up career high of 20 pts, 5 rebs, and 2 asts in the loss vs Lexington. 

Arby’s Classic Highlights

  • Kell (GA) wins Arby’s Classic Championship behind Tournament MVP; C.J. Brown South Florida signee, and All Tournament team; Cannon Richards and Chris McLavish. 
  • Jackson-Reed (DC) were runners up in Arby’s Classic led by Jayden Fort, Scotty Hubbard, and J.J. Massaquoi. 
  • South Carolina commit Trent Noah of Harlan County (KY) was a top performer 
  • UConn commit Ahmad Nowell scored 40 points in an outing for Imhotep (PA).
  • Tennessee High (TN) Collin Brown gets All-Tournament team honors, starred over the years for Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities.  
  • George Wythe (VA) Reed Kirtner put up tournament high 40 points in the loss vs Mentor (OH). 

804 Coach 4 Change Highlights:

  • VCU commit Brandon Jennings finished with 24 pts, 18 rebs, and 5 asts to lead St. Christopher (VA) in the Unity Championship Game, winning MVP of the tournament. 
  • Collegiate (VA) wins the Change Bracket Championship, 2025 Shooter Frank MacNelly wins tournament MVP with 8 pts and 4 Rebs in the Championship Game.
