Tiberius demonstrates a natural feel, advanced skill level and as he continues the natural maturation process his tremendous athleticism begins to flourish. Tiberius is becoming a prolific high scorer scorer and has averaged almost 30ppg over the last five games, now realizing the great promise his high school coach and former college assistant and head coach Don Burgess told me over a year ago was imminent. Not only a talented scorer, he is a highly efficient shooter from all levels, effortless compact stroke, fluid release. His footwork and shot mechanics are disciplined and consistent out of a variety of actions. He can stretch you out with the threat of his jumper but exploits that nicely with a quick first step, aggressiveness attacking space and rangy strides that allows him to cover ground quickly. Tiberius is an explosive leaper who can finish above the rim with ease. He has the ability to stop on a dime and bury the pullup jumper at a high rate and does a masterful job of getting where he wants with the dribble thanks to solid ball handling skills and clever footwork. Good quickness running the floor, great motor. Tiberius has the athletic tools, understanding and the competitiveness that allows him to impact the game in a variety of ways on both ends of the floor. He’s already drawing attention from the likes of UNC Greensboro, Gardner Webb, USC Upstate and JMU. The growth both physically, mentally and fundamentally over the last two seasons has been dramatic both for Tiberius and his also highly touted twin brother Latham Fields and both are seeing their stock skyrocket and interest from college coaches increase rapidly as a result.
