Clay Roberston and Max Wilcox had a great weekend.

Myrtle Beach, SC - Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live was a sold-out event, that had 300 teams from all different states attend. Myrtle Beach is always a great event with tons of top talent.

Clay Robertson @clayrobertson7

Clay Robertson of WV hustle 16u had himself a solid weekend in Myrtle Beach live period. Clay was electrifying as he dazzled us with explosive drives off the bounce with fierce finishes even with defenders in his jersey. Clay delivered with multiple and 1 situations. But clay was not one demential as he was a sniper from downtown with unlimited range. Clay averaged 16.7 pts, 5 reb, 2 blks, 2stl and 4 asts in session 1 going 2-1. Followed that up in session 2 with 13 pts 4reb, 5sts,2blks and 4 asts and 2-1 record with the loss coming to eventual champions by 1 point on a buzzer beater. In that game clay had 6 sts . That's consistent production at its best against great competition. He led his team in scored and was MVP in all 4 wins. This gem is a stud not to be overlooked. Must see talent.

Max Wilcox @MaxWilcox19

Max Wilcox of the WV reign 16u put on a show in the Myrtle Beach live periods y'all. Max was the second leading scorer on his team with limited shots with 16 pts per game average. Max was a triple threat scoring option that delivered. But what set Max apart was his board work. He averaged 8 reb a game with game high of 15 rebs. in one game, in session 1. Max also averaged 5 asts, 5 steals and 2 blks per game. Even playing up in 17u one game in session 2 he averages still held firm. This stud is the hardest blue-collar worker on his team and always team first leadership.

WV Hustle Big Shots Saunders

Who knew this WV hustle 16u had it in them to take this Myrtle Beach live period championship. THEY DID! Led by their championship MVP, they blazed their way into this game red hot. A different leader rose up every game to make an impact. They were fierce and gritty on defense while scoring lights out. Great team work and ball moment. They made a statement, basketball is alive and well in WV! Everyone of these stars played a role in getting the job done. They earned this the right way.
