Rock Hill, SC - In its fourth year the Big Shots Prep Nationals had incredible talent and hosted several top teams in the nation. Over 105 highschool and post grad teams made this years event the biggest high school event for Big Shots to date. Prep Nationals featured hundreds of available prospects and a number of ranked players in the nation. Teams from over 3 countries, and 15 states traveled to the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center all for one common goal, to be name National Champs.
Spire Institute (OH) -
Spire Institute & Academy came in to Big Shots Prep Nationals and delivered back to back 20 point victories leading up to the title game. Spire had a margin of victory of more than 20 points per game as they held opponents to an average of 47 points. Landon Calabrese averaged 20 ppg and was named MVP of the gold division. Calabrese was super consistent scoring 20 points in all three contests. The 6'7 F Khalid Ousmane also poured in a game high 22 points in the semifinal to help Spire make it to the title game where they won 67-55 over NCGBB Varsity.
