Virginia Beach, VA-  Big Shots Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Tip Off was the kick start for Big Shots and the AAU season. The Virginia Beach Tip Off was held at the top of the line 12 court Virginia Beach Sports Center. This event was special and a perfect one to start the season with tons of nail bitters. Countless games went down to the wire and were decided by one final possession. There was a lot of high level talent spread across all divisions and they all competed to be the last team standing. CHAMPS: Team Assault 2028

Sale'h Robinson helped lead Team Assault to a 12U championship as they defeated Carolina Culture in a battle for the title. It was a rematch that everyone wanted to see in the 12U division as Team Assault took game 1 against one of the top 12U teams in NC. Game 2 was much of the same as Team Assault proved to be too much to handle in the end. Assault went 4-0 to remain undefeated to start the season. Sale'h Robinson was a force all weekend and continued his dominance scoring in double figures in 3 out of the teams 4 games. Robinson was named tournament MVP in the 12U division as he averaged over 12 ppg. Along with Robinson Team Assault had 3 others named to the all star team.
