RECAP: Big Shots Prep Nationals High School Gold All Stars

Cumberland Christian Academy (GA) & Salem Baptist (NC) take home the title in the High School Gold division.

Rock Hill, SC- Big Shots Prep Nationals was the last high school and post grad event of the year for Big Shots and it was the biggest high school event on the east coast. Prep Nationals was held at the amazing 9 court facility, Rock Hill Sports & Events Center. High major talent was on display all weekend as top teams battled it out. This event was sold out with 96 teams, and over 1,000 players. The facility was filled all three days with college coaches from every division, JUCO all the way to high major Division 1’s. Teams the following states and countries were in attendance: NC,SC,TX,FL,VA,MD,PA,OH,NY,NJ,WV,AL,TN,GA,CAN & EUR . Take a look below at the All Star Selection.

Cumberland Christian Academy & Salem Baptist were the two teams left standing in the high school gold division after sweeping the competition. Cumberland Christian defeated Elevation Prep (NC) in the title game to capture the title. Cumberland was led by standout Jelani Hamilton who averaged over 22 points per game and finished second in the entire division in scoring. Hamilton was named MVP of the gold division for his standout play. The 6'6 guard showcased his stellar skillset and it was easy to see why he holds offers from schools like VT, GT, Auburn, and Alabama. The 2023 product was spectacular. Salem Baptist was led by Isaiah Ramazani who was also named MVP of the Gold division. Ramazani led Salem Baptist in scoring for the entire tournament and was the key piece in them bringing home the hardware. In the semifinal game the 6'1 guard exploded for 25 points to separate the game. Salem Baptist and Cumberland Christian were also led by more players who were named to the 1st & 2nd team All Star list below.
