RECAP: Big Shots Prep Nationals Post Grad Platinum All Stars

Flyght Academy takes home the Post Grad Platinum championship behind a strong weekend from Anthony McComb

Rock Hill, SC- Big Shots Prep Nationals was the last high school and post grad event of the year for Big Shots and it was the biggest high school event on the east coast. Prep Nationals was held at the amazing 9 court facility, Rock Hill Sports & Events Center. High major talent was on display all weekend as top teams battled it out. This event was sold out with 96 teams, and over 1,000 players. The facility was filled all three days with college coaches from every division, JUCO all the way to high major Division 1’s. Teams the following states and countries were in attendance: NC,SC,TX,FL,VA,MD,PA,OH,NY,NJ,WV,AL,TN,GA,CAN & EUR . Take a look below at the All Star Selection.

Flyght Academy was the lone team standing after a tough bracket in the post grad platinum division. Flyght Academy is based out of Ohio and went 4-0 defeating Moravian Prep Black to capture the Platinum division championship. Anthony McComb was named MVP of the entire division after fantastic performances throughout the weekend. McComb led the team in scoring averaging over 14 ppg. He was special in the open court and controlling the offense. He thrived in the pick and roll game putting pressure on the defense every step of the way. Flyght had multiple players named to the 1st and 2nd team All Star list. Allen Lattimore & Anthony McComb were named 1st team. Tallice Landers was also a big piece for this team and was named 2nd team.
