Charleston, SC- The Big Shots Charleston Invitational was a high level event that hosted several high school and post-grad schools across many states. Schools from NC, SC, VA, FL, OH and GA were in attendance. The event was held at the premier North Charleston Athletic Center. The Charleston Invitational a high level event for years to come.

NC's No. 1 ranked team lived up to the ranking with the win vs. Franklin Prep. Michael Wright has a team that boast players for all levels. Ezra Ausar, NC's No. 1 SF, was named game MVP with 17 points. Akron commits Ryan Prather Jr. connected on 5 3's for 20 points. Star backcourt 2023 Silas Demary Jr. and 2022 Elijah Jamison are as good a duo as any in the state. Jalen McDonald was high flying earning all star honors.
The Simpkins Bros., Takai and Tajuan, have been the buzz of the winter in North Carolina following their title win at Winter Jam and showing at Chick-Fil-A Classic. The type of guards that cause the madness in March. The 6'3 explosive combo guards are quick, play well above the rim and can fill it up from distance. Both are Division-1 talents that continue to prove it every game out and win games. Another guard that brings it every game at the guard spot is David Wilkerson who put in an all star showing. Josiah Dow held down the paint.
OCA has been one of Charleston's top teams this school season led by the 2023 backcourt of Malachi Stevens and Makhi Rivers. Stevens scored 17 points in the win to earn game MVP. Rivers ran the show at the PG spot.
