Rock Hill, SC- Big Shots Nationals was an exceptional event held at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center. It was filled with breakout performances from up and coming stars, as well as some of the top teams & high level talent. College coaches were in attendance as they packed the gyms to find their next recruit.
The Carolina Rockets defeated Carolina Heights 51-40 in the 12U title game at Big Shots Nationals. Jaquan Clay (2026) earned the InStat MVP Award with 23 points in the title game. The 6-foot-3 hybrid threat averaged 16.0 points per game (second in the division) and finished first in the division in total points (48) at Big Shots Nationals.
Mario James was another top performer at Big Shots Nationals with Carolina Legacy Assault. He showed off his consistency with a 19.0 points per game average after a pair of 19-point outings against BTB 2026 and Crossover 2 Elite. He's a prospect in South Carolina's 2026 class to keep an eye on as well.
