Big Shots Nationals: Slam Division
Big Shots Elite NC Ellis & NJ Beasts capture a Slam Division title.
Rock Hill, SC- Big Shots Nationals was an exceptional event held at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center. It was filled with breakout performances from up and coming stars, as well as some of the top teams & high level talent. College coaches were in attendance as they packed the gyms to find their next recruit.
Big Shots NC Ellis claimed yet another SLAM Division Title, this time at Big Shots Nationals with 2025 prodigy Eli Ellis taking home InStat MVP honors once again. Ellis finished second in the division in total points (115) and points per game (23.0) with 26 points coming in the title victory over Cecil Kirk Team Puma in a 75-57 win. He continues to impress no matter who is in front of him.
2022 guard Cole Sinclair (NC) was another top performer in the SLAM Division as he finished first in the division in total points (116) and points per contest (29.0) with the Durham Hurricanes. He didn't finish with a game below 28 points through four games, with his tournament-best 32 points coming against Team Synergy 2022. He'll be one to watch this upcoming high school season at Winston-Salem Christian.

The NJ Beasts made the trip to Rock Hill, South Carolina and didn't go home empty-handed, getting a 74-59 victory over Virginia Havoc Roanoke in the second SLAM Division title game of Big Shots Nationals.
Omarion Jett-Dobbs (2022) took home InStat MVP honors with 13 points and an overall impressive defensive performance that turned heads. The 6-foot-2 combo guard put up 16.2 points per game on the weekend as well. Danny Lans (2022) the 6-foot-2 combo guard was another impressive performer for the NJ Beasts as well with 21 points in the title game. He averaged 17.3 points per game on the weekend.
Jack Faulkner (2022) and Owyn Dawyot (2022) were some top perfomers in Virginia Havoc Roanoke's rotation. Faulkner showed off his ability to make plays for himself and others while producing 12.4 points per game. Dawyot led the way with 12.8 points per game including 17 points in the championship. He's a strong 6-foot-2 guard with potential in Virginia's 2022 class.
