Rock Hill, SC-  Big Shots Nationals was an exceptional event held at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center. It was filled with breakout performances from up and coming stars, as well as some of the top teams & high level talent. College coaches were in attendance as they packed the gyms to find their next recruit.

Micah Jones was named InStat MVP after pouring in 26 points in an 86-84 sudden death overtime victory over the Big Shots Elite Virginia Nets. Jones produced 14.3 points per game as one of the leading scorers for Strong Center. Jessie Mitchell also posted 26 points including the game-winning lay-in in the paint to lift Strong Center to the 16U Orange title.  He put up 19.3 points per game to lead the way for his squad. 

Lawrence Cole and Elijah Mitchell of the Virginia Nets both had big games despite the loss as well. Mitchell finished with 27 points while Cole had 22 points, putting their averages at 25.5 points per game and 18.8 points per game, respectively on the weekend. They've been a top squad out of Virginia all year long.

Virginia Havoc Roanoke's Ryan Steger was another standout performer in the 16U Orange Division as he put up a division-best 97 total points and finished second in scoring with 24.3 points per contest. He knocked down 25 3-pointers across four games, including seven in a 33-point outing in their final contest at Big Shots Nationals.
