Myrtle Beach, NC-  Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live 1 was another standout event to tip off the Live Period. It was held at the Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, and it was filled with elite talent & some of the top teams. The gym was full with college coaches looking at some of the nation’s best & to find their next prospect.

GNC Elite took home the 16U red title after defeating GA Knights 60-39 in the championship game. Savior Branch was big time in the title game scoring 21 points to help extend the lead for his team. Branch played well for GNC on both ends, scoring the ball at will and being able to guard multiple positions. The 6'3 forward made a name for himself in the biggest game of the tournament. 

Another standout performer in the division was Malcom Hodges for EBA All Stars 16. EBA made it to the semi-final game in the silver bracket but lost to Bull City Silverbacks. Hodges was the main scorer for his team and finished the tournament leading all scorers in the division with 15.3 ppg.
