Myrtle Beach, NC- Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live 1 was another standout event to tip off the Live Period. It was held at the Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, and it was filled with elite talent & some of the top teams. The gym was full with college coaches looking at some of the nation’s best & to find their next prospect.
Lawrence Cole is familiar with winning MVP awards as he has earned a handful over the course of this season. Cole led Big Shots Elite Virginia Nets to a 16U Orange title after defeating Philly Pride Prep National in the championship game. Cole was at the top of the division finishing 3rd in scoring with 21 ppg. He came up big when the lights shined bright, scoring 24 points in the title game. He was too much to handle due to his ability to score & facilitate. He is a natural scorer, and he does it on all three levels. Cole is growing as a facilitator and leader of his team. He controls the game very well not only scoring at a high clip, but getting his teammates open shots.
Another Standout in the 16U Orange Division Jamar Livingston of Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities. Livingston opened up the tournament with the best performance of the day if not the weekend. He scored 40 points in game 1 and put his name of display for coaches to see. Offensively he can score it with the best of them. He shoots it well and uses his handle to blow past defenders. The 6'3 guard is in the class of 2023 & is playing very well at just the right time.
