Myrtle Beach, NC-  Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live 1 was another standout event to tip off the Live Period. It was held at the Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, and it was filled with elite talent & some of the top teams. The gym was full with college coaches looking at some of the nation’s best & to find their next prospect.

Chase Morgan of East Tennessee Basketball, Zoe Holman of Kings Unlimited, Cole Crosby of Prospect U Purple, & Malachi Dark of River City Reign were all given a MVP award as they helped lead their team to a 17U title. Each player put on a great championship performance, playing at an elite level in more ways than one. 

Trevor Button was another standout performer in the 17U division as he lead all scorers with over 30 ppg. Button is a new name climbing the ranks in the 2022 class after having a breakout summer. Button has been scoring the ball at a high rate and didn't slow down at Myrtle Beach Live 1. He is an efficient scorer that can get hot quick. Button shoots it well on all three levels and is crafty enough to get by his defender. The under recruited guard is in the class of 2022 & college coaches should be on watch from here on out. 

Josh Johnson was another player that caught some attention after leading his team all the way to the championship game. Johnson plays for No Guts No Glory and poured in 24 points during the title game but came up short. He had it going all tournament after opening up the weekend scoring 30 points.
