Big Shots Carolina Rise Classic: 16U All Stars

Team Wall took home the 16U championship behind the play of Instat MVP Masuan Bryant

Winston Salem, NC- Big Shots Carolina Rise Classic was another promising event held at the Rise Indoor Sports Complex. Many of the top teams came to play & it was filled with standout performers.

Team Wall defeated Man II Man in the 16U title game 62-52 to capture the championship. Masuan Bryant was elite for Team Wall averaging a division high 16 ppg. When called on he delivered, especially in the title game. Bryant was named Instat MVP for his play all tournament. He Is a midrange killer & gets to his spots with ease. While he utilizes the midrange well, he also attacks the rim aggressively using his body to initiate contact.

Another Standout performer in the 16U division was 6'2 combo guard Cooper Marcum from Big Shots Elite Mcbride. Marcum was second in the division in scoring, averaging 15 ppg. One thing that stood out about Marcum outside of his scoring ability was his frame. He uses his body exceptionally well to get past his defender & score. He scored the ball on all three levels over the weekend & looks to have a breakout live period.
