Virginia Beach, VA- Big Shots Virginia Beach Jam was another standout event. This year's event was packed with over 140 teams in the newly built Virginia Beach Sports Center.
Lady YKS beat RRR to win the 13U division title in one of the closest games of the tournament. It was a back and forth battle that went down to the final seconds as Lady YKS scored a put back layup to take a 2 point lead. In the end Lady YKS got one last stop to secure the win. Caroline Cassidy was a huge factor in YKS pulling out the victory. She was everywhere on the court and provided whatever was needed. Cassidy is very fundamentally sound. She can shoot the ball, has good handle for her height, and rebounds well. Cassidy is a 5'7 small forward in the class of 2026 and is already showing her dominance.
Keira Kilkenny was another standout performer in the 13U division. Kilkenny plays for BWSL Black Widow. She was the leading scorer in the division at 13.7 PPG, and showed her scoring ability in many ways. Kilkenny was one of the elite guards in the division and led her team all weekend.
