Rocky Mount, NC-  Big Shots North Carolina Memorial Classic was another standout event. This event continues to have elite level talent full of sleepers that have standout performances. 

Jesse Mitchell led the way as Strong Center won the 16U Gold Championship over Cecil Kirk Team Puma, 73-59. Mitchell was spectacular in the championship game finishing with 27 points. He looked to have his way all weekend as he led all players in scoring, averaging 23 PPG. Jesse is a strong physical guard with a pure stroke from 3 and capitalizes from the line as well at mid-range. On the interior from Strong Center Sam Martin is proving to be a top 5 big in NC's 2023 class. At 6'9 he makes his presence felt at both ends of the floor. Mitchell had the hot hand, credit Jake Hart's floor game at the PG spot to control tempo and set up scorers en route to the title.

Abrahm Driver of Big Shots Mcbride and Dominic Schmidt of Big Shots WVA 2023 were also top performers in the division. Both players had a successful weekend both averaging 21 PPG.
