Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam High School - Post Grad All Tournament Teams

Myrtle Beach, SC - As the field of the legendary Beach Ball Classic extended in the 40th annual year to add the Winter Jam, several of the nation's best were on display at the Beach. This year's field crowned champions in the No. 1 ranked team nationally in IMG National Post Grad and North Carolina's hottest team in Moravian Prep National.

Post-Grad MVP: Brandon Murray 2021 6'4 SG IMG Academy (FL) - LSU signee

 

HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONS: MORAVIAN PREP (NC)

 

High School MVP: BJ Freeman 2021 6'5 SF Moravian Prep (NC)

 

PERFORMANCE OF THE TOURNEY: 2023 high major PG Aden Holloway scoring 33 points and hitting game winning half court shot for Covenant Day

Brandon Murray 2021 6'4 SG IMG Academy (FL) - LSU signee is proving to be a 5-star talent. Led IMG in scoring at 21.5 ppg earning Post-Grad Tournament MVP.

Aden  Holloway 2023 6'1 PG Covenant Day (NC) - NC's No. 1 2023 PG was electric scoring 33 points and hitting half court game winner in Round 1. Led the division at 27.5 ppg. Holds several ACC offers. 

Efton Reid 2021 7'0 C IMG Academy (FL) - ESPN's No. 15 ranked 2021 prospect was impressive at the rim using his motor, length and feel to make his presence felt. A top available prospect nationally that is now attracting NBA attention as well.

Benny Williams 2021 6'8 SF IMG Academy (FL) - What a great fit and get for Syracuse in Benny Williams. The bouncy wing was constantly playing above the rim and showing the stroke from 3. ESPN No. 27 2021 prospect averaged 12 ppg.

BJ Freeman 2021 6'5 SF Moravian Prep (NC) - As hot as any prospect in North Carolina's 2021 class, Freeman continued his stellar play at Winter Jam earning High School Tournament MVP honors. The versatile playmaking wing made big plays in big moments to pull his team to victory while averaging 15.5 ppg.

Eli Ellis 2025 6'0 G Moravian Prep (NC) - The 2025 nationally ranked guard continues to add to his resume as Eli Ellis scored 23 points in the title game for Moravian Prep. Even as an 8th grader the sharpshooter plays with ultimate confidence on a national varsity level and is showing he's more than a shooter scoring in a number of ways. Eli averaged 13 ppg. 

Charles Bediako 2021 7'0 C IMG Academy (FL) - The 5-star, ESPN No. 27 ranked 2021 prospect is quick off his feet and has elite instincts around the rim. Bediako excels in pick-in-roll situations and defends it as well. One of the nation's top shot blockers is a top 3 available big in the country and forms the best front court nationally alongside Reid.

Raekwon Horton 2021 6'6 SF Moravian Prep (NC) - College of Charleston signee is extremely versatile using his size, length and skillset to create a favorable mismatch. Love the fit at Charleston. He's changed the season for Moravian with his play and leadership.

Brady Rankin 2021 6'3 SG Northwood Temple (NC) - One of the top available shooters in North Carolina's 2021 class is definitely more than a shooter, he's a scorer. Rankin was dialed in from all 3-levels of the floor offensively with several high level finishes around the rim. Rankin led Northwood Temple at 19.3 ppg.

Lynn Greer 2021 6'3 PG IMG Academy (FL) - A top available PG nationally, Greer was super efficient with his play offensively and defensively, plus once again had the poster dunk of the tournament at Myrtle Beach. Holds several high major offers with several others jumping in. 

Lamont McNeil 2021 5'10 PG Piedmont Classical (NC) - Speedy facilitator was the key for Piedmont Classical going 2-1 in the event. Game MVP in the overtime win over Oceanside Collegiate.

Meric Kuntker 2021 6'3 SG AIM High International (SC) - Kuntker led the division in 3-pointers made. Shooter with feel that led AIM in scoring.

Jaquantae Harris  2022 6'2 PG Northwood Temple (NC) - With several high-mid level offers on the table for the Top 20 2022 prospect, Harris continues to make winning plays for the defending NCISAA 1A Champs. A physical lefty guard that sets the tone whether dishing or scoring. Harris scored 21 points in game 3 as Northwood Temple went 2-1.

Julian Williams 2021 6'7 PF Northwood Temple (NC) - Hybrid forward, bouncy around the rim, Williams averaged 14.7 ppg. Receiving division 1 -high level Division 2 interest.
