1. Zay Folkes | 6'4 | Putnam Science Academy (CT)
Zay Folkes is an explosive guard prospect that should turn heads at the next level at Charlotte. He's a guard with a ton of athleticism and strength that he uses to get to the paint and finish with authority. He's also got the ability to distribute, rebound and shoot the 3. He'll be at Putnam Science Academy this upcoming season but given his body of work in the state, he'll stay atop the combo guard rankings, where he is.
2. Jaylani Darden | 6'4 | Norview
Jaylani Darden is another combo guard prospect with nice athleticism. He's got a solid floor game to go along with a tremendous burst to the rim. He can play either spot in the backcourt given his ability to draw defenders and pass. He's due to make Longwood a contender very soon.
3. Miles Kelly | 6'5 | Hargrave Military Academy
Miles Kelly has turned heads this season at Hargrave Military Academy with his ability to shoot the ball on the perimeter and be a presence on the glass. He's got nice length at 6-foot-5 that he uses well to space the floor and keep defenses guessing with his ability to shoot and attack. He's headed to Georgia Tech.
4. Ikechi Chantilou | 6'3 | Life Christian Academy
Ikechi Chantilou is a long and wiry guard prospect that can play multiple positions on the floor. He's got nice length at 6-foot-3 and good instincts as a shotblocker and rebounder to go along with his ability to create on the fastbreak and finish in the paint. He's an underrated guard that recently decommitted from Iona.
5. Kobe Jerome | 6'3 | Blue Ridge School
Kobe Jerome is a combo guard with a solid feel as a distributor and shooter in the backcourt at Blue Ridge School. He's headed to UC-Riverside after his senior season. He can knock down shots on the perimeter and is an underrated defender as well that looks to get up under opponents and make them uncomfortable. He's also the brother of former UVA grad Ty Jerome.
6. Dana Woodley | 6'4 | John Marshall
Dana Woodley is an emerging guard with breakout potential at John Marshall this season. He gives the Judges quite the three-headed monster this season with him, Roosevelt Wheeler and Dennis Parker Jr. roaming the wings, not to mention Jason Nelson handling the ball. He likes to play at the rim on both ends and plays with a ton of energy and effort at 6-foot-4.
7. Christian Moore | 6'2 | Cape Henry Collegiate
Christian Moore is a lead guard that's due to be a 1-2 combination with Bryson Spell at Cape Henry Collegiate this season. He put up 17.5 points, 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per contest as a junior. He fills up the stat sheet using his speed and length. He holds offers from Army and Ohio.
8. Jalen Leftwich | 6'3 | Liberty Christian
Jalen Leftwich was last year's Seminole District Player of the Year and a first-team All-State performer in 2019-20 for Liberty Christian and returns as one of their leaders in the backcourt. He put up 16.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game in a strong junior campaign. He's headed to Emory & Henry.
9. Demitri Gardner | 6'4 | John Handley
Demetri Gardner is a versatile prospect to watch at John Handley. Gardner can get up the floor and play above the rim on the wing and even roam in the post, given his frame. He's got good strength for his size at 6-foot-4 and is an aggressive slasher with the ball in his hands. He's an underrated name to watch in Virginia's 2021 class.
10. Jayson Fain | 6'5 | Carlisle
Jayson Fain is one of those tweener-combo guards that can play multiple spots on the floor. He was a second-team All-State performer and first-team All-Conference after producing 13.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game as a junior. He can operate inside and out and use his length and strength to compete on both ends.
