Top 15 Standouts (High School)

2021 MVP: 6'3 Ty Schaafsma - 2021 Wing/Guard - Bishop England - Scoring wing plays with a high motor and has a knack to put the ball in the hole.  Competitor that does what it takes to win. Sneaky bounce to him and a 3-level scorer. Has had a big year with Port City Stars as a consistent all star and expect him to be an impact player at Bishop England. Currently Ty is receiving Division 2-3 interest. 

2022 MVP: 6'5 Jefferson McLamb - 2022 Wing/Guard - Wesleyan Christian - Players with length, shooting ability and athleticism standout quickly and McLamb is one of those prospects. The 2022 SC Showcase MVP averaged 17.5 ppg as a top scorer in the high school division. A skkilled shooter that moves well without the ball. Showed off his bounce at the rim with several emphatic dunks. He will have an impact player at Wesleyan Christian this season. 

2023 MVP: 6'1 Malin Allard - 2023 Point Guard - Oceanside Collegiate - Lefty guard that plays with pace, quick, scores left. Twitter: @malin_allard 

2024 MVP: 6'1 Yannick Smith - 2024 Guard - Deer Park - 14.5 ppg 

6'0 Kai Murdock - 2024 Guard/Wing - Cario - 12 ppg 

5'10 Makhi Rivers - 2023 Point Guard - Oceanside Collegiate - Knockdown shooter that went off for 28 in the final game. 3-point shooter. Very good point guard, aggressive defense. Twitter: Makhi74265283

5'7 Temple Simmons - 2021 Point Guard - Fort Dorchester - Simmons plays with a relentless motor on offense and defense. Plays with a big heart. Has had an all star season with Low Country Bulldogs. Shoots a high percentage. Also a good on-ball defender. A high academic student that is a pleasure to have at our tourneys and camps. Averaged 10 ppg at SC Showcase to earn all star honors.

6'2 A.J. Miller - 2023 Wing - South Pointe - AJ Miller was a breakout player at SC Showcase as he led the high school division at 19.5 ppg. A strong versatile wing that makes plays. High basketball IQ sees the floor and uses his skill-set to score in a number of ways either on the block or off the dribble. Liked his leadership qualities on the floor. Twitter: Ajmiller92

6'3 John Templeton - 2024 Guard/Wing - Oceanside Collegiate -  Skilled combo guard that shoots it and is a consistent all star with Mechanics Elite. Showed athleticism at the rim and ability to make a play off the dribble. Averaged 15 ppg at Big Shots SC Showcase.

5'5 Jaden May - 2024 Guard - Fort Dorchester - Quick guard scored 14 points in game 2 in earn game MVP honors.

6'0 Anthony Washington - 2022 Point Guard - Military Magnet - Smooth lefty guard that can score or distribute. Like his length, size and decision making at the PG spot. Twitter: AntjonyXP6

6'4 Tyler Kelly - 2021 Power Forward - Porter Gaud - Stretch forward that can shoot it. Averaged 12 ppg at Big Shots SC Showcase. Standout on the circuit with Port City Stars, Kelly continued his stellar summer as the top shooting big in camp. Will be an impact player at powerhouse program Porter Gaud this season. 

5'11 Jordan Fraser - 2023 Point Guard - Ridgeview (SC) - Point guard with a stroke that is one to watch coming up the ranks in a powerhouse program at Ridge View. Tough, quick lead guard that plays with pace and burst off the dribble. Has range on his jumper. Was the top shooter in the 2023 class at camp, averaged 10 ppg. 6'0 Dylan Orschell - 2021 Point Guard - Saint James - Impact player on a Saint James team that will make a run at a region title. Shooter that competes, combo capabilities.  Defends multiple positions. Schools of interest: Converse, Spartanburg Methodist, Cape Fear CC, Brunswick CC, Fayetteville Tech. Twitter: @dylanorschell

6'4 Gabriel Frasier Jr. - 2022 Wing - First Baptist - His defensive presence stood out with a strong frame at 6'4 and length that effected shots. Also a vocal leader on the floor. Frasier will be an impact player for Antoine Saunders at First Baptist.

5'10 Rashad Simmons Jr - 2024 Guard - Jerry Zucker - The LCE backcourt of Simmons Jr and Jenkins has been fun to watch. Simmons gets downhill in a hurry, can shake and score at an efficient rate. Most recently he was named MVP at Big Shots Myrtle Beach Jam. Simmons averaged 8 ppg at SC Showcase in earning all star honors.

5'9 Montreal Jenkins - 2024 Point Guard - Simmons Pinckney - For the last 3 years Jenkins has been a consistent all star with LCE and once again showed his quickness and shot making ability at SC Showcase. He averaged 10 ppg at the camp. Tough minded guard that is always looking to make a play

5'9 Cazz Williams - 2024 Point Guard - Fort Dorchester -  Cazz has been a consistent all star this circuit season and once again showed his athleticism and drive game to earn all star honors at camp. An athletic driving guard that makes the right play whether scoring or dishing. Fluid movements on the floor along with production that project him to be a college level player.  Twitter:  @cazz_05

6'0 Thomas Collins - 2023 Wing - South Pointe - Collins is a 3-point threat with range. Can finish at the rim if run him off the line. Applied good on ball defense and was active in the passing lanes. Twitter: @ThomasC55248467

6'4 TJ Warwick - 2022 Forward - Oceanside Collegiate -  Warwick was one of the most dominant bigs in the event. A strong body forward that knows how to use his frame to make a play. Defensively he covers ground and rebounds. Solid back to the basket moves with a face up jumper to 15 feet.

5'8 Ayden Southard - 2024 Guard - Lucy Beckham - Lefty shooter that will be one to watch as he comes up in the Beckham program coached by Andrew Glover.
