Take a look at the Top 15 Standouts from Big Shots Carolina Finale in the 16U division.

MVP: JAXON BROWN - 6’0 GUARD - RENEGADES ELITE CRYER

Brown had quite the tournament for Renegades Elite Cryer and is emerging as a guard to know. He averaged 12.5 ppg and made three 3-pointers to lead his squad to a Gold Championship at Big Shots Carolina Finale.

DRE PRINCE - 6’0 GUARD - RENEGADES ELITE CRYER

Prince is another combo guard in the 2022 class to keep an eye on. He's a sharpshooter that knocked down six 3-pointers and averaged 12.0 ppg for his squad and was another backcourt standout for Renegades Elite Cryer.

JAVARI STEPHENS - 6’1 GUARD - ROCK NATION IMPACT

Rock Nation Impact lost their first game of the weekend but won three straight after that and Stephens had a lot to do with that at the lead guard spot. He finished tied atop the division for most points (58) while producing 14.5 ppg and draining four 3-pointers at Big Shots Carolina Finale.

DEMETRIUS MCKELVY - 6’4 FORWARD - ROCK NATION IMPACT

McKelvy proved to be a force in the frontcourt for Rock Nation Impact. He showed he can hold his own in the paint and be a presence on both ends.

KEON WEBB - 6’0 GUARD - TEAM HOOP STATE

Webb was a relentless threat for Team Hoop State in the 16U Division finishing first in made free throws (15), fifth in total points (44) while posting 11.0 ppg and handling the point guard duties for his squad.

DEAVION WIMBLY - 6’0 GUARD - TEAM HOOP STATE

Wimbly showed off his skills as a three-level scorer, putting up 12.0 ppg and making eight 3-pointers at Big Shots Carolina Finale, good for second in the division. He's a sharpshooter that can get hot in a hurry. 

OTIS CARTER - 5’11 GUARD - CAROLINA BALLIN

Carter is an electric scorer that showed off in the 16U Division this past weekend. He put up 19.3 ppg, 58 total point and led the division in 3-pointers made to show he's next up for Carolina Ballin. He's one to watch as well at Aiken High School.

KEVIN KERNAN - 5’11 GUARD - FLIGHT 22 WILMINGTON

Kernan showed he's a consistent 3-point shooter once again, finishing tied for third in 3-pointers made with seven for Flight 22 Wilmington. He's a young guard that's worth noticing out of the Wilmington, NC area.

TRISTAN HARKINS - 6’3 WING/GUARD -  BIG SHOTS ELITE NC LEWIS

Harkins made an appearance with Big Shots Elite NC Lewis and showed off, despite playing up an age division. He's a member of the 2023 class that averaged 11.3 ppg and knocked down six 3-pointers this past weekend. He's a versatile threat with sneaky athleticism.

KIDD BRIZEK - 6’7 FORWARD - BIG SHOTS ELITE TRI-CITIES

Brizek will be one to watch this season at Legacy Early given his versatility on the floor. He's a prospect that can score from all three levels and defend with prowess.

SASHA LETINO - 6’7 FORWARD/WING - BIG SHOTS ELITE TRI-CITIES

Letino continues to show his development as a versatile option in the 2022 class.  He averaged 12.0 ppg and showed he's becoming more of a paint presence.

CARSON CRYER - 5’10 Point GUARD - RENEGADES ELITE CRYER

Cryer is a floor general with a high IQ for playmaking and knocking down 3-point shots.  He was another double-figure scorer for Renegades Elite Cryer, averaging 12.0 ppg and making four 3-pointers.

SHAWN SHERIDAN - 6’4 WING/GUARD - TEAM HOOP STATE

Sheridan was another sharpshooter on the wing for Team Hoop State at Big Shots Carolina Finale. He knocked down seven 3-pointers to show he's force on the perimeter and he's only in the 2023 class in North Carolina.

JEB REISER - 5’10 GUARD - SC WOLFPACK

Reiser was the unsung leader for the SC Wolfpack and led the 16U Division in scoring average (24.0 ppg). He made three 3-pointers on the weekend as their lead guard and showed his own as a downhill driver.

REID SATTERFIELD - 6’3 GUARD/WING - BIG SHOTS ELITE TRI-CITIES

Satterfield showed his prowess as a sharpshooter, making eight 3-pointers and producing 12.0 ppg for Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities. He's been a summer stockriser.

DEMARCO BETHEA - 6’5 FORWARD - B.H.B. 

Bethea was the anchor in the frontcourt for B.H.B. on the weekend. He posted 17.0 ppg, tied for fourth in the division, for his squad, showing he's a paint presence to be reckoned with.
