Take a look at the Top 15 Standouts from Big Shots Nationals in the 16U division.

 

1. Jay Gortman - 6’2 Point Guard - 2022 - Palmetto City Hurricanes

Posted 41 points against Big Shots CPA, showing off his ability to get buckets whenever he wants, high-major prospect that averaged 30.0 ppg as they went 2-1 at Big Shots Nationals

2. Caleb Foster - 6’4 Guard - 2023 - Team Curry

Played solid alongside Quava Propst-Allison in the backcourt while playing up an age division; averaged 15.0 ppg and showed he can share the basketball and balance the scoring load

3. Breon Pass - 6’2 Guard - 2021 - Tea Marie Hoops

Produced 18.5 ppg at the lead guard spot for Tea Marie Hoops 2022 squad that featured Jakwon Moore, Marcus Magness, Gabe Proctor and Jai Smith and went 2-0 on the weekend

4.  Sasha Letino - 6’8 Forward - 2022 - Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities

Showed off his ability to attack the basket with the ball in his hands, averaged 19.0 ppg and made two 3-pointers, emerging paint presence and outside threat in the Class of 2022.

5. Anthony Sellars - 6’7 Forward - 2022 - Big Shots Elite North Carolina

Stretch-forward that’s finding his stroke on the perimeter; posted 16 points to lead the way in a victory over Team Curry; got to the free throw line and showed off his physical game

6.  Randall Pettus - 5’11 Guard - 2022 Showtime Hoops Bradley

Came alive in the final two games for Showtime Hoops making eight 3-pointers; put up 21 points on six made 3-pointers in a big win over Flight 22 Wilmington; averaged 18.5 ppg on the weekend

7. Quava Propst-Allison - 6’1 Guard - 2022 - Team Curry

Complemented Caleb Foster well in the backcourt, maintained double-figures throughout the weekend while distributing the basketball and defending at a high level

8. Corneilous Williams - 6’9 Forward - 2022 - Big Shots Elite North Carolina

Posted 15.7 ppg and continues to show improvements as a rebounder and rim protector on the defensive end

9.  Brandon White - 6’10 Forward - 2022 - QCAA Hoops

Finished second in the division in scoring with 60 points; averaged 15.0 ppg across four contests showing off his three-level scoring

10. Samaad Wright - 6’0 Guard - 2022 - PSB Elite UA Rise

Played at a high level in the backcourt with Isaiah Tate, averaging 17.3 ppg including 22 points in their final victory

11. Isaiah Williams - 6’6 Forward - 2022 - Charlotte Royals

Produced 12.7 ppg for the Charlotte Royals at the stretch-forward spot, active three-level scorer and defender

12. Sean Cusano - 6’4 Guard - 2023 - Team Rogue 2022

Showed off his stroke on the perimeter with nine made 3-pointers for Team Rogue out of Tennessee; part of a long backcourt that extends the floor and can stroke it on the perimeter

13. Camian Shell - 5’10 Guard - 2022 - Big Shots Elite North Carolina

Operated the offense and held his own in the paint, active, quick guard, shifty creator and shooter, 12.7 ppg

14. Jai Smith - 6’10 Forward - 2022 - Tea Marie Hoops

Active force in the paint on both ends, rebounding machine with strong hands, big finisher in the post, 13.0 ppg

15.  Ryan Maier - 5’11 Guard - 2022 - West Virginia Reign Elite

Maier paced his squad’s offense in Big Shots Nationals with 18.0 ppg, finished third in the division in total points (54 points)
