For such a younger player Ellis fits incredibly well playing against older competition because he has a great basketball IQ, solid passing ability, and high-end shot-making talent. He made his share of 3’s, but his passing vision along with his commitment to keep the ball moving or deliver the assist was impressive. The next step is to be a noticeable on-ball defender vs opposing point guards.
