By Big Shots Nation, 05/15/20, 11:45AM EDT

Here's a look at South Carolina's Top 10 shooting guards

Big Shots Recruiting Nation goes in depth into evaluating the top point guards, shooting guards, small forwards and bigs in the 2021 class in the state of South Carolina. Here’s a look at the top shooting guards in South Carolina's 2021 class:

RJ Felton, Aiken, 6'3, Team United EYBL | VIDEO

Offers: USC-Upstate, North Florida, and Presbyterian.

RJ Felton is a Top 5 2021 Prospect in SC. Felton kept everybody on their feet during this year's dunk contest and translated his athleticism into solid performances during the games portion of the event. He has nice strength for a guard of his size and wasn't afraid to finish above the rim as he did on multiple occasions. Mixed with his tight form and stroke plus his focus in the skill session is what sold me on Felton making it safe to tag as SC's best sleeper in 2021. Sleep no more, many more college coaches will be making their way to Aiken soon.

Chase McDuffie, Gray Collegiate, 6'5, Carolina Pressure | VIDEO

Offers: St. Bonaventure, Fayetteville State, and Winthrop.

Chase McDuffie is one of the top 3-point shooters in the SC 2021 class.  He has the main attributes of a big guard, confident, and the best attribute being a winning mentality. Chase is an athletic guard who can score on all three levels. He can get to the rim with a nice handle and has a crafty touch around the rim. Chase is one of those players you always need to find him when he is outside the 3 point line because he can shoot it from anywhere.

Quenton Flood, Lower Richland, 6'5 Upward Stars SE | VIDEO

Offers: ETSU

Quenton Flood is a bouncy athletic wing. He is explosive around the rim off drives and catches about any lob thrown to him. Best off the drive at this point but has the perimeter intangibles to be effective at the mid-range game and from 3. Forms one of the top 2021 duos in the state alongside Korey Richardson. Lengthy frame with a solid skillset.

Corey Graham, Manning, 6'4, Big Shots SC Premier | VIDEO

Corey Graham is a high major prospect that is extremely bouncy around the rim. He plays as a combo guard that has the handles of a point. He has a balanced floor game by scoring on all three levels. He is most dangerous in downhill situations where he can rise up and in the fastbreak. Corey currently holds high major interest and surely will get more offers soon.

Trevon Spillers, Military Magnet, 6'4 Low Country Elite | VIDEO

Trevon Spillers stepped up for Low Country Elite on the 17U circuit, averaging 16.5 ppg. Showed off his ability to stretch the floor with his 3-point shot. He’s a forward prospect that’s keen on getting to the rim and finishing. Trevon averaged 12.3 ppg as a freshman, 18 ppg and 6 rpg as a sophomore, and 18 ppg as a junior.

Ayden Hickman, Myrtle Beach, 6'3, Upward Stars | VIDEO

Ayden Hickman is a ‘3 and D’ player that can score in a variety of ways especially shooting the 3 at a high rate. Ayden had an All-Star season for Big Shots Elite SC and had several big scoring outputs. But what impresses me the most with him is the pride he takes defensively to be a shutdown defender on the opponent's best player. He made it to the state championship this past season with Myrtle Beach. Will be a top 2021 shooting guard on the Grand Strand staring at Myrtle Beach for Craig Martin.

Colin Rodriguez, North Augusta 6'2 | VIDEO

Collin Rodriguez is an athletic springy shooting guard who is always looking to put on a show in the fast break. He can finish through contact and tries to dunk everything when he gets to the rim. He has a smooth stroke and can shoot mid-range and three. Colin is best in a downhill situation where he can rise up to dunk the ball.

Janyle Pittman, Lancaster, 6'2, 1-Carolina | VIDEO

Janyle Pittman is a strong explosive 2-3 combo wing that will rise up and dunk on you. He has competing tendencies as a former Lancaster star, Sindarius Thornwell. He is really great at finishing through contact and tries to out-jump anybody around him. He plays both sides of the ball and is a shutdown defender. He has a nice frame with the strength of many D1 guards.

Umar Lawson, Laurence Manning, 6'3, Upward Stars Columbia | VIDEO

Umar Lawson is a lefty slasher with ultra athleticism. He is best in driving situations and has the ability to get to the rim with a quick first step. Umar can finish with both hands in traffic with his athletic ability over people. He has a nice mid-range jump shot but does need to work on his jump shot overall. Umas tries to dunk everything and on everybody which makes him an intriguing prospect.

Mac Washington, Marion, 6'3 Upward Stars Pee Dee | VIDEO

Mac Washington is a 6’3 athletic guard who can score on all three levels. He was a star player for Manning High School this year and made some highlight plays. He is quick and very bouncy. He can shoot the three with a nice jump shot. Mac was an All-Star in both MB Finale and MB Live.

Jameson Tucker, Mauldin, 6'3, Mauldin CPA

James Tucker is an athletic guard/forward. James plays both football and basketball at Mauldin high school. He averaged 15 ppg and 4 rpg as a sophomore and 13 ppg and 4 rpg as a junior.

Nic Williams, Mauldin, 6'4, Mauldin CPA | VIDEO

Nic Williams is an athletic finisher who can fly. He always tries to finish above the rim and over the defenders. He is an officiant driver and dangerous in the fast break situations.

Chris Rhone, Gray Collegiate, 6'4, Carolina Pressure

Chris Rhone has a nice broad frame that shocked me when he walked through the door. He's a player I've known for years as his dad officiates Big Shots and to see his growth mixed with his shooting and skills has him looking like a Division 1 prospect more and more. As a 6-foot-4 combo guard, he's able to play either guard and forward spot. Dion Bethea of Gray Collegiate has found great success over the years with players just like Chris Rhone: shot makers, two-way players that can play several positions. When given room and rhythm, he showed off his stroke from behind the arc. Rhone ranks in the top 40 in South Carolina's 2021 rankings.

Timothy Barnes, Gray Collegiate, 6'3, Team USC | VIDEO

Timothy Barnes is yet another emerging prospect that will be at Gray Collegiate this upcoming season. He’s a combo guard that can jump out the gym and his athleticism were on full display at the Top 150 event for South Carolina as he was trying to dunk everything. He’s got nice size at 6-foot-3 and is a confident slasher that is due for a breakout year this high school season as Gray looks to 3-peat as champs.
