Take a look at the top available guards in the DC/Maryland area.

Brandon Murray - Poly

Murray averaged 21.7 points per contest and shot 65 percent from the field while leading his squad to another Baltimore City titl and won the Baltimore City Player of the Year award as well. He’s headed to IMG Academy to further develop his game this upcoming season and is down to a final five of Georgia, DePaul, East Tennessee State, Georgetown and Rhode Island.

Jomo Goings - Churchill

Goings is an underrated guard at 6-foot-3. He does well to navigate through the defense and score on all three levels and competes on both ends. He produced 25 points per contest for Churchill High School but doesn’t hold any offers just yet. That should change soon.

Mike Brown - Takoma Academy

Brown is a prospect that makes opponents pay on the offensive end when they give him space on the perimeter and in the paint at 6-foot-3. He’s another guard that’s been underrecruited in the area, but as teams figure out their needs for next season, he’ll come up on their radar.

Carlos Hubb - Gonzaga

Hubb is the younger brother of Prentis, currently a member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He’s a 6-foot-2 shooting guard prospect that spaces the floor well with his ability to knock down the outside shot and create off the bounce. He holds an offer from Mount St. Mary’s.

Mike Sumner - Oxon Hill

Sumner is a 6-foot-3 combo guard that closed out his high school career at Oxon Hill. He’s a willing passer that is always looking to make a play when the ball touches his hands. He holds an offer from Bryant.
