Take a look at some of the top unsigned floor generals still available in North Carolina.

There's still a lot of unsigned talent available in the state of North Carolina. Here's a look at the top guards available.

Christian Hampton - Northwest Guilford

Christian Hampton is an explosive guard that gets after it on both ends. He's got nice size and strength to his game at 6-foot-2 that allows him to play at a high level. His athleticism is something that sets him apart from other guards across the state and it got him co-Metro Conference Player of the Year and first-team All-District honors at Northwest Guilford. He produced 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per contest during his senior campaign and currently holds offers from App State, Mount Olive and Catawba College.

Chase Forte - Word Of God

Chase Forte had a productive senior season, showing his growth as more of a scorer and facilitator in 2019-20. He averaged 12 points and five assists per game as Word of God played a national schedule against the likes of Hillcrest Prep, Prolific Prep and others. He held his own this season, showing off his quickness with the ball and athleticism getting to the rim. As he continues to improve his shooting, he'll be one to watch at the next level.

Rashod Smith -  Washington

Rashod Smith is listed at just 5-foot-9 but he plays a lot bigger with the ball in his hands than his height suggests. He posted over 1,900 points and 700 assists during his high school career and has really gotten attention from some local junior colleges. Bluefield College has offered him as has Wake Tech and Fayetteville Tech. As he continues to develop, he's a combo guard that's due to make waves at the next level.

Dylan Blake - First Flight

Dylan Blake is another combo guard that put up big numbers during his high school campaign. The First Flight product put up over 2,000 points and 900 3-pointers as he took home 3-straight District Player of the Year selections and Conference Player of the Year. He's a sharpshooter that has "in the gym" range and won't hesitate to get into the paint and get his nose dirty a little bit around the rim.  He put up 28.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 3.0 assists per game as a senior in 2019-20. He holds offers from High Point and Young Harris College.

Kam Edwards - Liberty Heights Institute

Kam Edwards is a 6-foot-3 combo guard that you don't want to let get hot on the perimeter. Edwards is a guard that can hold his own as a ballhandler and distributor in the rotation. He was one of the top sharpshooters in the rotation this season for Liberty Heights and their strongest backcourt defender given his solid frame.  On the perimeter, he's a knockdown shooter that can score it in bunches when given the opportunity. He holds offers from South Carolina State and Charleston Southern.
