There's a number of talented point guards in Virginia's 2022 class. Take a look at some early prospects to track.

1. Jayden Epps, Kings Fork

Jayden Epps is slowly climbing up the rankings in the 2022 class in Virginia. He's a prospect that can already score on all three levels at the point guard position and asserts himself offensively with his ability to create off the dribble. He already holds offers from Florida, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, VCU, Old Dominion and others.

2. Dug McDaniel, Paul VI

Dug McDaniel had quite a breakout freshman season stepping up when Duke-bound guard Jeremy Roach missed a majority of the 2018-19 season. Now, he's prime for a strong prep career in the Paul VI rotation after a strong showing on the hardwood. He holds offers from Wake Forest, George Washington and Mount St. Mary's.

3. Kanye Clary, Princess Anne

Kanye Clary is a crafty floor general that had a productive summer on the AAU circuit with Boo Williams and is due for a breakout season at Princess Anne High School.  He's shifty off the bounce and finishes tough in traffic already. Don't be surprised if he moves up the rankings in the next few seasons. He holds offers from Hampton and Norfolk State already.

4. Kenyon Giles, Oscar Smith

Kenyon Giles is quite the point guard prospect with his athleticism and skill set. He can break down the defense and get to his spots on the floor and has nice vision to get others involved on the floor. He did work during his freshman season and earned Honorable Mention All-District honors for his play on the hardwood.

5. Amari Gray, L.C. Bird

Amari Gray is a point guard that plays with tons of maturity even though he's only a sophomore. He does well to operate off the dribble and draws foul in traffic when given opportunities. He'll be one of the go-to guys in LC Bird's rotation in 2019-20 with his ability to score and command the offense.

6. D.J. Campbell, Kecoughtan

D.J. Campbell is a versatile point guard that can score and defend at a high level at Kecoughtan High School. He's got a solid IQ for making plays, especially in the open court when the defense isn't set. He can get to the rim with ease and can finish above the rim as well. He's a legit point guard to keep an eye on in this class.

7. Garrett Brennan, St. Stephen's St. Agnes

Garrett Brennan is soon to be a hot name in the IAC for St. Stephen's St. Agnes. He's got some studs ahead of him in the backcourt to learn from, but Brennan is set to become a solid contributor in the rotation this season. He's got a good feel for the game that allows him to be effective on all three levels.

8. Piercen Young, Virginia Episcopal

Piercen Young is a new addition to Virginia Episcopal's roster but brings a nice array of skills to the point guard spot. He's got a nice mix of grit and mid-range game that allows him to be an effective guard on the floor. He'll be one to watch this season at VES.

9. Elijah White, Kempsville

Elijah White is a high-level scorer and passer in the Kempsville High School ranks. He handles the basketball with ease and cherishes assists just as much as he does points when he's on the floor. He's a playmaking guard worth getting eyes on in the 2022 class.

10. Quanye Veney, Highland Springs

Quanye Veney is an emerging guard prospect at Highland Springs due for a breakout sophomore season. He isn't the biggest point guard at 5-foot-9, but he makes up for it with his ability to shoot off the bounce and finish at the rim. He does well to get downhill on drives and get the ball to teammates in the halfcourt.
