Co-MVP: Collin Tanner - 6’3 - G/F - South Granville

Collin Tanner is an impressive member of North Carolina's 2022 class. Tanner looked well playing a number of positions for his squad this past weekend. He put up 21 points per game during the showcase games and showed off his 3-point shooting ability as well. He's learning how to handle ball pressure and move the ball in space. He gets to the rim well using his strength and size and is emerging as quite the rebounder. Tanner was a breakout performer this fall in NC's 2022 class and is a division-1 prospect.

Co-MVP: James Wilkins III - 6’2 - PG - Calvary Day School

James Wilkins III is a gritty point guard prospect with some raw talent in North Carolina's 2022 class. Wilkins produced 16 points per contest and moved the ball well at the point guard spot at Big Shots Wilmington. He can score on all three levels with his sound decision-making skills and facilitates well through traffic to make plays as a floor general. He controls pace well on offense and defends the ball with solid tangibles. Wilkins III is currently receiving Division 1 interest. 

First Team

Isaiah J. Williams - 6’4 - SF - Porter Ridge

Isaiah Williams was a standout prospect at Big Shots Wilmington with his versatility and defense in the paint. Williams is a long forward that can play the wing and the interior with his strength and length. He posted 14 points per contest as a scorer from the paint and perimeter this past weekend. He played solid defense in the paint as a rim protector and ran the floor well as a threat at the rim on offense. 

Dee Barnett - 5’10 - PG - New Hanover 

Dee Barnett has been a memorable name throughout this season of Big Shots showcases and it was no different at Big Shots Wilmington as he stood out with his slashing and toughness. Barnett was solid getting to the rim and showed off his mid-range game off the bounce as well. He posted 11 points per contest as his team's floor leader this past weekend. He should be fun to watch this season at New Hanover High School

John Baldwin - 6’7 - PF - Whiteville

John Baldwin is an intriguing big man in North Carolina's 2022 class. He stood out with his size and presence in the paint at Big Shots Wilmington. He's got nice mobility and hands in the paint for a player of his size at 6-foot-7. When he's engaged, he's effective around the rim as he was in his second showcase game of the day, when he posted 18 points. He's one to watch at Whiteville High School.

Bradlee Wolf - 6’8 - C - Topsail

Bradlee Wolf is another big man in North Carolina's 2022 class with tremendous upside. He was a solid big man at Big Shots Wilmington with his ability to attack the rim and stretch the floor with his jumper. He put together a 13.0 points per game scoring average and two made 3-pointers during the showcase games this past weekend. He's learning to attack the rim with his length and mobility. He's a breakout prospect to watch at Topsail High School.

Jaden Johnson - 6’1 - SG - Southeastern Home School

Jaden Johnson is a solid shooting guard in the 2022 class of North Carolina with his size and awareness. Johnson did a little bit of everything at Big Shots Wilmington this past weekend. He can score from all over the floor, getting to the rim and finishing on the perimeter. On defense, he's an emerging defender with his ability to pressure the ball and keep his opponent off track.

Cannon Keziah - 6’1 - G - Topsail

Cannon Keziah is another member of the Topsail High School squad to keep an eye on in the 2022 class. Keziah is a nice change of pace at the combo guard position with his ability to create off the dribble in the pick and roll. He's learning how to become a consistent factor on the floor and had a strong summer shooting the 3-ball.

Jeremy Aldrich - 6’0 - G - New Hanover

Jeremy Aldrich is a lefty shooter with potential in the sophomore class in North Carolina. He's a guard that moves well without the ball and can create in space off the bounce and did so on numerous occasions at Big Shots Wilmington. He's got a nice stroke on his 3-pointer and is slowly learning how to be a factor as a distributor.  He's an up-and-coming guard to watch at New Hanover High School.
