The 2021 class of shooting guards in Virginia is a talented bunch. Here's a look at the Top 10.

The Virginia area is ripe with talent, especially in the 2021 class. Take a look at who made the final cut for the Top 10.

1. Trevor Keels, Paul VI

Trevor Keels is the shooting guard prospect in Virginia's 2021 class. While his natural position is the 2-spot, he can play the small forward and point guard spot with his versatile skill set. He can score on all three levels off the catch and dribble and is a terror on the defensive end with his strength and length. He holds offers from UConn, Georgetown, Ohio State, Maryland, Alabama, West Virginia, Miami among other high-major programs.

2. Wesley Peterson Jr., Bishop O'Connell

Wesley Peterson Jr. is a name that's really grown in Virginia's 2021 class over the past few months. He's another versatile prospect listed at 6-foot-5 that can play off the ball on the wing and in some cases, on the interior. He's a long shooting guard that gets to the rim and finishes with authority. He's also got an underrated floor game. Peterson holds an offer from Bryant.

3. Jaylani Darden, Norview

Jaylani Darden is an emerging combo guard prospect out of Norview High School. He's a solid downhill driver and does well to make things happen with the ball in his hands. His jump shot is still coming along but he stuffs the stat sheet with his ability to score, pass, rebound and defend. He's a player due for a breakout year in 2019-20. He's got offers from Hampton, Norfolk State and VCU.

4. Jaden House, Middleburg

Jaden House is a new addition at Middleburg Academy and slowly climbing up the radar of college coaches. He's seen his stock rise since joining Middleburg Academy after attending Henrico High School in 2018-19. He's a big guard that can score from anywhere on the floor, especially with his emerging jumper. He holds offers from James Madison, Stetson, Old Dominion, Howard, and Mount St. Mary’s.

5. Garrett Johnson, Episcopal

Garrett Johnson is a long guard at 6-foot-7 that can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim and knock down shots from behind the arc as well. He's another player at Episcopal High School that should turn heads this upcoming season. He has offers from Fairfield, James Madison and UMass-Lowell.

6. Jaeden Freeman, Nansemond Suffolk

Jaeden Freeman is a growing prospect at Nansemond Suffolk High School. He's a 6-foot-4 wing that can catch and shoot the 3-ball, works in transition with his length and athleticism and defends multiple positions. Freeman is learning to play more physical on both ends and continues to improve his strength. He holds an offer from Hampton.

7. Andre Speight, South County

Andre Speight is a budding prospect at South County High School AT 6-foot-2. He can handle the ball on the perimeter, shoot from the perimeter and finish at the rim. He has a chance to make South County a very strong team at the state level as a matchup nightmare. Speight holds an offer from Loyola (MD).

8. Lamonta Ellis, Hopewell

Lamonta Ellis has started on the varsity squad at Hopewell High School since his freshman season. He's got a nice shot for his size at 6-foot-3 and is slowly improving as time progresses. Ellis is due for improvement on both ends entering 2019-20.

9. Caleb Kenney, Douglas Freeman

Caleb Kenney is an athletic guard prospect listed at 6-foot-5 that really gets after it on both ends. He attacks the rim in transition with reckless abandon and does well to create for himself off the bounce. He's a lefty that's long and bouncy with tons of room to grow more as an all-around threat. He holds an offer from Lees-McRae.

10. Grayson Honaker, Honaker

Grayson Honaker isn't one of the biggest shooting guards at 6-foot-2 but he makes his presence felt with his feel for the floor and how to get open for shots. He can score on all three levels and is unselfish when it comes to making plays happen for others. He holds an offer from UVA-Wise.
