MARYLAND/DC RANKINGS: A LOOK AT THE TOP 10 POINT GUARDS IN THE 2021 CLASS

Here's a look at the Top 10 point guard prospects in the D.C./Maryland area.

The 2021 class in the D.C./Maryland area has quite the talented prospects in it. Here's a look at the Top 10 point guards in the area.

1. Ryan Conway, Dulaney

Ryan Conway has really come into his own as the fearless leader at Dulaney High School. He can really fill it up from all three levels and is a top-notch defender on the defensive end. He's a competitor that doesn't like to lose and puts his team in a position to win at all times. He holds offers from Stanford, Kansas State, Bryant, TCU, Old Dominion among others. 

2. Brayon Freeman, Huntington Prep

Brayon Freeman is extremely hard to guard on the hardwood and will be a problem at Huntington Prep in 2019-20 after transferring from Bishop O'Connell (VA). Freeman can score off the bounce and off the catch and is a solid scoring threat that continues to emerge in the 2021 class. He has offers from George Washington, George Mason, Ole Miss, VCU among other suitors.

3. Erik Reynolds, Bullis

Erik Reynolds is a name slowly climbing the radar at Bullis Prep in the 2021 class. He's a three-level scorer that uses his length well to get to the paint and score from behind the 3-point line. He's also an underrated defender that flies around for blocks around the rim. Reynolds holds offers from East Carolina, St. Joseph's, Robert Morris, Stony Brook among others.

4. Darrius Tilghman, Baltimore City College

Darrius Tilghman is a combo guard prospect at 6-foot-3 that uses his size and strength well to make an impact on the hardwood at Baltimore City College High School. He's crafty at creating off the dribble and an unselfish passer when pressured. Tilghman holds offers from UMass, Ohio, Bryant, St. John's and Stony Brook.

5. Kino Lilly Jr., Landon

Kino Lilly Jr. is due to break out in 2019-20 at Landon High School. Lilly had a strong summer on the AAU and high school stages and has drawn interest from a ton of Ivy League schools. He can score it from all three levels and fill up the stat sheet rebounding and dishing assists. He currently holds offers from Brown, Bryant and Stony Brook.

6. Zion Russell, Georgetown Prep

Zion Russell is another shooting guard prospect due for a big season at Georgetown Prep. He can fill it up from deep and has improved his ability to drive to the bucket as well. He's due to have a strong year as a playmaker and scorer. Russell holds offers from Columbia, Boston University and Bryant.

7. Ahmad Harrison, Baltimore City College

Ahmad Harrison is a strong guard at 6-foot that does a little bit of everything at the combo guard position. He put up 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 blocks and 2.5 steals per game this past season at Gerstell Academy and is due for an even bigger season in 2019-20 at Baltimore City College High School. He can get to the rim and the free-throw line and is still developing as an outside shooter. He currently holds an offer from Virginia Tech.

8. Chace Davis, St. Andrew's Episcopal

Chace Davis has slowly become a prospect in recruiting circles as he enters his third season at St. Andrew's Episcopal. The 6-foot-2 guard has all the athleticism in the world that allows him to get to the rim and is emerging as a solid outside shooter. This past summer, his recruitment has really taken off with offers from Mount St. Mary's, Bryant and Siena.

9. Bez Mbeng, Good Counsel

Bez Mbeng is a long, wiry combo guard that is slowly learning when to score and when to make things happen with the ball in his hands at Good Counsel. At 6-foot-2, Mbeng has quite the length that allows to him to finish above the rim with authority. His jump shot is coming along as well. He holds offers from La Salle and Bryant. 

10. Andre Crawley, Mt. Saint Joseph's

Andre Crawley is a small guard listed at just 5-foot-7 but he's got a big-time game at Mount Saint Joseph's. He's been a key member of the team since his freshman season and continues to grow as a playmaker and scorer with the ball in his hands. He's an emerging prospect slowly growing on recruiting lists. He holds offers from Bryant and Stony Brook.
