The 2021 class in Virginia has a ton of solid point guard prospects. Here's a look at the Top 10 prospects in the ranks.

1. Angelo Brizzi, Highland School

Angelo Brizzi has seen his stock rise in the 2021 class at Highland School in the Fredericksburg area. Brizzi can knock it down from deep and has a fearless attitude on the floor. He pushes the pace well and can score from anywhere on the floor with his top-notch handles. Brizzi holds offers from Yale, Lehigh, La Salle, Loyola (MD), Drexel and others.

2. Jason Nelson, John Marshall

Jason Nelson is a shifty point guard with tons of game in his skill set. He's a new addition to John Marshall High School in the Richmond area and should do well with his new squad in the success department. He can score on all three levels and make plays happen all over the court. Nelson currently holds offers from Howard, VCU, Richmond, Drexel, Vanderbilt among others.

3. Allen Strothers, Menchville

Allen Strothers is an athletic lead guard that can get after it on both ends. He's got nice size at 6-foot-1 that he uses well to get to the rim and create off the dribble. He's got a number of mid-major programs knocking on his door with Robert Morris, Elon, Radford, Hampton among others looking to add him to their rotation.

4. Anthony "A.J." Williams, Trinity Episcopal

Anthony "A.J." Williams is another transfer from Varina High School to Trinity Episcopal where he should do damage with 2020 forward Henry Coleman in the frontcourt. Williams is a combo guard that can shoot the ball as well as distribute and gives Trinity Episcopal another high-major prospect to work with in their rotation. He holds offers from Old Dominion, Richmond, Towson, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss among others.

5. Isaiah Folkes, Middleburg Academy

Isaiah Folkes is due for a breakout season at Middleburg Academy in 2019-20. He's seen his stock rise as one of the premier slashers and shooters in the state of Virginia. With his athleticism and skill set at 6-foot-3, he's one to keep an eye in the class of 2021. He's been offered by James Madison, Radford, Norfolk State, Stetson, Old Dominion and Youngstown State already.

6. Michael Gray, Blue Ridge School

Michael Gray is an emerging combo guard at Blue Ridge High School. He had a solid sophomore season in 2018-19, producing 13.0 points, 4.2 assists, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He's quite the shooter inside the 3-point arc and continues to develop his outside shot. Look for him to have a strong junior campaign. He has offers from Cincinnati, Old Dominion, Virginia Tech, James Madison and Hampton. 

7. Quadir Pettaway, Miller School

Quadir Pettaway will be another name that will change places for the 2019-20 season, moving from Hampton Roads Academy to Miller School in Albemarle. Pettaway is an aggressive scorer off the bounce and off the catch. He can get to the paint and score and has nice range on his shot. Hampton, James Madison and Old Dominion have offered already.

8. Elvin Edmonds IV, Hopewell

Elvin Edmonds IV is a point guard with a quick first step and high IQ for making things happen with the ball in his hands. Edmonds is smart with the ball in his hands and quite an efficient scorer when given the opportunities. He's a nice sized guard as well that uses his strength well to make plays happen. Edmonds holds offers from Towson, VCU, James Madison, Old Dominion, Hampton and Winthrop.

9. Darius Johnson, Episcopal

Darius Johnson is quite the lead guard for his size at 6-foot for Episcopal. Johnson put up 17.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.2 assists per contest in 2018-19 and returns looking to do more damage in the backcourt. He can score on all three levels and shot 43 percent from behind the arc this past season. He holds offers from George Mason and South Florida.

10. Kuron Coleman, Woodside

Kuron Coleman is a point guard prospect who's stock is slowly rising at Woodside High School. He's drawing tons of interest from college programs with his ability to knock down the 3-ball and make plays for his teammates. He's got a solid feel for the offensive side of the ball and recently earned his first D1 offer from Hampton this past month.
