The big men prospects in the Maryland/DC area are quite a versatile group. Here's a look at the Top 10.

The Top 10 bigs in the Maryland/D.C. area is a talented and versatile group. Here's a look at the final 10.

1. Hunter Dickinson, DeMatha

Hunter Dickinson has solidified himself as the top big man in the DC/Maryland area for the past two seasons now. He's a 7-foot-2 prospect that can snatch double-doubles and protect the rim on defense. He's quietly grown as a top prospect in his class. Dickinson is down to a final four of Duke, Florida State, Notre Dame and Michigan.

2. Justin Lewis, Poly

Justin Lewis is a versatile forward prospect that's set to have a strong senior season at Baltimore Polytechnic in 2019-20. Lewis and company won the 3A State Title this past season and will look to repeat this upcoming season. The 6-foot-7 can score on all three levels and is quite the defensive force. He's headed to Marquette to play his college ball.

3. Terrance Williams, Gonzaga

Terrance Williams has emerged as quite the forward prospect at Gonzaga College High School. He's got nice size and length at 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds and has become a force around the rim and in the paint across the past few seasons. Williams is due for a strong senior campaign, especially after committing to Georgetown University.

4. Woody Newton, Mount Zion Prep

Woody Newton is another versatile prospect on this list that can do a little bit of everything. He can handle on the perimeter as well as defend on it. He can post up and is quite the rim protector on defense. Jim Boeheim's found himself a gem with his commitment to Syracuse. 

5. Tyrae Washington, Takoma Academy

Tyrae Washington is due for a breakout season after re-joining the DMV ranks at Takoma Academy. Washington should keep some attention on him with his ability as a scorer and defender at 6-foot-8. He's drawn some interest from some Division I college programs. He's a versatile addition to Takoma Academy after spending time at MacDuffie School (MA).

6. David N'Guessan, Mount Zion Prep

David N'Guessan has seen his stock rise over the past spring and summer with his ability to play on both ends. He can finish above the rim and defend the rim on the other end just as well. He's drawn offers from VCU, DePaul, Towson, Saint Joseph's, George Mason, East Tennessee State, Robert Morris and others. Keep an eye on him at Mount Zion Prep.

7. Oumar Koureissi, National Christian

Oumar Koureissi has slowly become a top big man prospect in the 2020 class at 6-foot-9. He can score on all three levels using his length, athleticism and strength to continue climbing the rankings. He holds offers from Bryant, UMass, Stony Brook, Rhode Island and Towson.

8. Tegra Irzay, Archbishop Carroll

Tegra Irzay is a traditional big man prospect that has quite the mobility at 7-foot. He can guard the paint and the perimeter and rebounds at volume when in the rotation. His offensive game continues to develop but he's a solid pick-and-roll threat. Irzay holds offers from George Mason, Siena, Loyola (MD), Old Dominion, Mount St. Mary's and La Salle.

9. Matthew Rogers, St. Maria Goretti

Matthew Rogers has seen his stock rise in his final season on the AAU circuit. He is headed to American University after his play with Mid-Atlantic Select and is due for a breakout season at Saint Maria Goretti High School in 2019-20. He can score on all three levels on offense and his mobility and shooting around the perimeter have developed a ton.

10. Churchill Bounds, Bishop Walsh

Churchill Bounds has come a long way at Stephen Decatur in the Maryland-Eastern Shore region of the state and will be a key player at Bishop Walsh in 2019-20. He emerged as a walking double-double in the Bayside region of the state and is due to have a strong senior campaign. He holds an offer from Central Arkansas.
