Deerfield Beach, Fl – Taking home the 17U title was the team with the farthest to travel this weekend, Connecticut Express. They defeated On the Rise, Team Breakdown, and the South Florida Sonics on their way to the championship. They were led by their unstoppable force of a young man by the name of Lucius Brittian. Lucius led the 17U division with 22 ppg and was a constant force on the offensive and defensive glass. His ability to create second-chance points for his team is what allowed CT Express to keep an 8 – 12 point lead the entire second half.

Some other standouts from the weekend in the 17U division include Dream Team’s Jalen Haynes (21.5 ppg), CT Express’ Ajaye Fair (18.8 ppg), and Team Breakdown’s Alex Vertus (18.3 ppg) & EJ Taylor (15.0 ppg).
