Deerfield Beach, Fl – Taking home the 16U Gold Championship was the Florida Vipers with their wins over Latino Basketball Club, Landfall Elite, and South Florida Sonics. Leading the way was their MVP Michael Trigg who averaged 17.3 ppg. Trigg is a combo guard with size and quickness that turned heads this weekend. He was a mismatch on offense for anyone who guarded him and made it difficult for any opposing offensive player.

Some other standouts from the weekend include Florida Vipers’ Taylor Hendricks (14.3 ppg), South Florida Sonics’ Kenny Aubin (15.0 ppg), CT Express’ Kevin Jefferson (13.7 ppg), and Landfall Elite’s Micah Octave (12.8 ppg) & Devin Hines (12.0 ppg).
