Jared Armstrong shines in the 2009 Sonny hill Developmental Basketball League In Philadelphia, PA. Jared only got to play in the last to games of the League, but when he got out there he really showed spectators why he is the #1 Point Guard In Philadelphia. In the Sonny hill Developmental League Jared averaged 18.5 Point Per Game, 4.2 Assist Per Game, and 1.3 Steal Per Game. Jared did very well in the League, before Sonny hill himself invited Jared to the Sonny hill Bill Cosby Future Stars League At Temple University McGonigle Hall playing in the 9th and 10th graders. Jared was picked up on a team called District Council 33, which he became the starting Point Guard For. Jared was the only 12 year old to play in the Sonny hill Bill Cosby Future Stars League, except for Kobe Bryant. By the end of the league, Jared had made a name for himself, averaging about 7 Point Per Game, 3 Assist Per Game, and 2 Steals Per Game. Unfortunately, District Council 33 didn't make the playoffs because of there 6-8 record. Jared enjoyed playing in the league with older kids , and is looking forward to playing in the Sonny hill Developmental and Bill Cosby Future Star Leagues again next year.
